Seattle Restaurant Week

You know it’s a new season when SRW takes over the Seattle area, offering prix fixe menus to attract new and old diners. We have always subscribed to this hospitality venture, and this year is no different. COMO, El Encanto, and our new Bar Cantinetta have special 4 course, $65 menus on the table. Cantinetta Bellevue and Wallingford have their classic 3 course, $50 menu featuring - you guessed it - the famous Pappardelle alla Bolognese.

It’s staycation season, cozy season, room service season.. and we have you covered. We are excited to announce that our Mexican brunch menu is now available for in-room delivery to the Woodmark Hotel next door at Carillon Point on Saturdays and Sundays. Pop bottles…from bed.

After proudly serving Madison Valley for 10 years, we closed the doors of Bar Cantinetta in 2023, all while continuing to search for a new home for the humble “bar c”. We could not be more thrilled for this snail to have found its newer, bigger, improved shell, just up the hill on 15th ave! We had an opening party at the end of August and officially launched a couple of weeks after that. Helmed by Chef Donny Chromy & GM Hugo Mendoza (both you will remember from the previous iteration) and joined by some familiar Cantinetta & COMO faces, the family is back together. Pull up a seat!

Day of the Dead x Adictivo Tequila Dinner ~

Another fun tequila dinner is around the corner, this time with Adictivo Tequila out of El Arenal Jalisco, MX. Chef Gabriel Chavez has put together a progressive (off) menu, four course prix fixe, paired with these 100% blue agave tequilas. Cap off your Halloween weekend with us and celebrate Día de Muertos.

On Our Plates ~

• The current star of the show at Bar Cantinetta is Risotto Milanese with Braised Short Ribs and Saffron. It tastes as luxe as it looks.

• El Encanto’s Pozole Verde is back just in time to roll back the clocks. Shift into soup season with us.

• It wouldn’t be fall without some pumpkin on the menu. Cantinetta Wallingford’s Baked Cannelloni with bechamel, pumpkin and goats milk cheese ticks that box and then some.

• Snag a bar stool at the Bellevue Cantinetta and drink a martini from Kevin, everyone’s favorite bartender. Snack on some Burrata with Pesto and tomato jam for balance.

• The Truffle Pizza at COMO with porchetta, fontina and truffle ricotta will always be that girl.

We have partnered with the great people at Passing Time to bottle our house COMO & Cantinetta wines for some time now, but we have just upped the ante. Available only at Bar Cantinetta is our custom, 100% Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon.
